| I’m honored to be one of 35 artists selected by Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver to participate in their first annual “Opening Doors” Auction. All net proceeds from the event will go towards building new homes and making the dream of homeownership a reality for low-income families across Metro Denver.Titled “4 Rose Vine,” I wanted to my piece to be useful, not just decorative, so I chose a free-standing cabinet and painted four roses on the door. I used the stems to connect each rose portrait, forming the ‘vine.’ It reminds me that in some ways, we are all connected.I’m glad to be able to support such a worthy cause. Come and bid on my and 34 other local artists’ pieces or simply enjoy the art and complimentary refreshments.
